As compared to most mobile operators who have received their license in 1994 and as such their license would be valid only till 2014, RIL's current 15-year scheme is believed to be superior. As an enhancement to this, RIL has now introduced the ten-year lifetime validity product. Under the new scheme, the recharge option of Rs 795 available with E-recharge comes pre-loaded with Rs 25 worth of talk-time. Subscribers will be able to make outgoing calls at rates of Rs 1.99 per local call, and Rs 2.99 per call within the country.
As in case of the existing recharge option of Rs 995, with the Rs 795 recharge option the subscriber will not be bound by any particular tariff plan for a lifetime. He/she will be able to choose from the company's wide range of prepaid vouchers and tariff plans, with Reliance India Mobile. Subscribers will also have the option of choosing between the existing and the new lifetime schemes.
