Sony Ericsson yesterday introduced the latest addition to its Walkman series, the W890 Walkman phone, for which, the company has exclusively tied up with RPG Cellucom Stores, it said. In keeping with the Walkman phone tradition, the W890 too, is a stylish phone with mega bass and stereo-widening speakers, which promises to set music lovers' pulses racing.


The phone sports 2GB music storage with the capacity to store up to 1,800 songs, a 3.2 mega pixels camera, and a Walkman player 3.0 with one-click access and simple intuitive navigation -- among others. With a memory that's expandable in-sync with your growing music collection; an added 2GB memory stick micro is provided in-box to store your music. The 'Sensme' music experience automatically plots your music by tempo and mood, letting you select the song that matches how you feel. You can also tune in to your favorite radio stations using the phone's FM Radio. Sony Ericsson claims that with the W890's HSDPA capabilities, you can download music at speeds up to four times faster than with regular 3G devices. Besides, it makes for quicker and easier viewing of Web pages. The W890 is fully compatible with Sony Ericsson's 'PlayNow' mobile entertainment experience, providing users with instant access to latest content, including full-length music tracks, mobile games, ring tones, or wallpapers directly downloadable onto your phone or via your PC.
